In Line with Enhancing the University's Global Standing and Scientific Diplomacy: Synergy between Education and International Affairs; Honoring the Pioneers of Services to Non-Iranian Students at the University.

According to the International Affairs Directorate of the University of Kurdistan; in line with realizing the university's strategic plans to develop scientific diplomacy and enhance the quality of services provided to the non-Iranian student community, a cordial meeting was held at the International Affairs Directorate to honor and appreciate the active personnel of the faculties' education departments.

The meeting aimed to strengthen communication channels between frontline staff and headquarters, and to express gratitude to colleagues who play a key and direct role in streamlining the academic processes for international students.

The session was attended by Dr. Hossein Bivorani (Director of International Affairs), Dr. Hemin Noorbakhsh (Director of International Students Affairs), Dr. Najmeddin Jabbari (Head of the Center for Teaching Persian to Non-Persian Speakers), Ms. Lamea Hashemi (Senior Expert for International MoUs and Projects), and Dr. Keyvan Qaderi (Head of Accreditation and Ranking). During the meeting, the valuable services and effective cooperation of Dr. Asad Mahdavi (Head of the Education Department at the Faculty of Natural Resources), Ms. Arena Hosseini (Head of the Education Department at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences), and Ms. Solmaz Moradi (Senior Expert for Graduate Studies Education at the Faculty of Languages and Literature) were highly recognized and honored.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Hossein Bivorani emphasized the fundamental importance of internationalization in modern higher education. He stated that attracting, guiding, and increasing the satisfaction of international students is a chain process whose backbone is formed within the faculties' educational sectors, and the dedicated support of education officials plays a decisive role in enhancing the scientific authority and global standing of the University of Kurdistan.

Following his remarks, other directors and senior experts of the international sector detailed various aspects of admission processes, Persian language training, international ranking requirements, and the legal frameworks of MoUs, identifying comprehensive synergy as the main key to the university's success in global evaluation indices.

The main part of the session was dedicated to a specialized dialogue and exchange of views among the attendees. Relying on their direct experience with the academic concerns of non-Iranian students, the invited education officials presented constructive suggestions and solutions.

Among the topics thoroughly discussed were: optimizing and facilitating registration and admission processes in postgraduate studies, strengthening administrative communication channels between specialized faculties and the Persian Language Center, providing innovative solutions for the cultural and academic adaptation of students in the faculties of Humanities and Natural Resources, and upgrading educational data registration structures to improve the university's ranking and international accreditation indicators.

At the conclusion of the meeting, plaques of appreciation were awarded to Dr. Asad Mahdavi, Ms. Arena Hosseini, and Ms. Solmaz Moradi for their support in honoring and advancing international students' affairs. The participants emphasized the continuity of such brainstorming sessions to refine processes and strengthen the international standing of the University of Kurdistan.
